Agreements

The Agreement Section receives and processes settlement agreements, attorney fees and Motions to Substitute Party for Widows’ Benefits.  Pre-litigation agreements between injured employees and employers, and/or their insurance carriers, as well as widow’s benefit calculations are given immediate attention by the staff of this section.

 

FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)

 

Q.  Has my agreement or attorney fee been received?  Has it been approved?

A.  With the Simba system we can pull the claim in question up by social security number, name, injury date, and of course, by claim number.

Q.  What do I need to do to get the agreement approved?

A.  A knowledgeable person will answer your question by stating whatever deficiency that might exist…the inadequacy in the paperwork, discussing the required signatures or the mandatory documentation that is needed.

Q.  Has the Motion to Substitute Party been received?

A.  With the Simba system, we can check this for you by name, social security number, injury date and by claim number.

Q.  When will I get my money?

A.  The date of the docket can be projected or the date in which the order was approved can be given.

Q.  What is the discount rate?

A.  The PPD Calculator is a very helpful tool that illustrates the discount rate.
