CLARK MATERIAL HANDLING CO. EARNS FIRST
GOVERNOR'S SAFETY AND HEALTH AWARD  
 
The Kentucky Labor Cabinet presented the Lexington location of Clark Material Handling Co. with its first Governor’s Safety and Health Award for achieving 301,878 hours worked without a lost-time injury.  Deputy Secretary Rocky Comito presented the award to the managers and staff of the facility on August 23.  Clark Material Handling Co. is an industry leader, building more than 1 million forklifts since its beginning in 1917. The Lexington location employs 140 persons and produces forklifts and other material handling equipment, burden carriers, golf cars and also serves as corporate headquarters.

RIVER METALS RECYCLING LLC EARNS
GOVERNOR'S SAFETY AND HEALTH AWARD 
 
River Metals Recycling LLC was presented a Governor’s Safety and Health Award after working more than 369,839 hours without a lost-time accident.  Deputy Secretary Rocky Comito presented the award on July 25 to the workers of the Ferguson, Kentucky facility.  River Metals Recycling LLC is the largest scrap recycler in Kentucky with ten recycling facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

GOVERNOR'S SAFETY AND HEALTH AWARD PRESENTED
TO BIG RIVERS ELECTRIC SEBREE STATION
 
Big Rivers Electric Sebree Station was presented a Governor’s Safety and Health Award after working more than 1,000,000 hours without a lost-time accident.  Department of Workplace Standards Commissioner Anthony Russell presented the award on July 9 to the workers of the Robards, Kentucky station.  Big Rivers Electric Corporation is an electric generation and transmission cooperative
headquartered in Henderson, Kentucky.  The Sebree Station produces electricity through three
coal-fired power plants.

PIC GROUP INC CELEBRATES GOVERNOR'S SAFETY AND HEALTH AWARD 
 
PIC Group Inc.’s EW Brown Generating Station was presented their first Governor’s Safety and Health Award after working more than 304,898 hours without a lost-time accident.  Kentucky Labor Cabinet Deputy Secretary Rocky Comito (front left) and Department of Workplace Standards Commissioner Anthony Russell (front right) presented the award on June 28 to the workers of the Harrodsburg, Kentucky station.  The PIC Group, Inc. is a global power generation service provider. The EW Brown Generating Station produces electricity through hydroelectric, fossil fuel and combustible turbine units.
