About this Site

The Kentucky Department of Labor unveiled this new design for its Web site on Jan. 17, 2005. The site is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above with a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 (see Changing Your Screen Resolution for help). MacIntosh users should visit Microsoft's Mac Download site for information about upgrading their browsers.

Why we made this change:

• We wanted to make it easier for people to find the information they need.

• We wanted our site to be fully accessible to people with disabilities. This new site meets the requirements of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act.

• We wanted to be sure our content is always up to date. To accomplish this, we have implemented an entirely new content management system to help us ensure you have the most current information available whenever you visit this site.

We hope you find this new site user friendly.
